Spring Cleanup

Performed from early March through May, our spring cleanup removes debris, weeds, and excess old mulch before spring pruning and perennial cutbacks begin. We redefine beds with crisp edges, fertilize plants, lay fresh mulch of your choosing, apply pre-emergent herbicide over the mulch, and back-rake every bed for a smooth, finished appearance.

Lawn Mowing and Trimming

Currently available in South Charlotte only. We follow mowing best practices for each grass type, vary cutting heights seasonally, sharpen blades regularly, and train crews to scout for disease. We skip and reschedule saturated or drought-stressed lawns, typically remove clippings for a superior finish, and pick up trash, branches, and leaves each week.

Lawn Fertilization, Weed and Pest Control

Our licensed applicators deliver a comprehensive eight-application program developed with our supplier and recommended for every lawn we service. Treatments may include lime, fertilizer, soil enhancers, insect control, fungicides, iron, slow-release fertilizers, and selective herbicides according to seasonal need.

Detail Visits

Detail visits are scheduled year-round and backed by our NC Certified Plant Professional certification. We remove weeds, prune in season, and clear leaves and debris, with a frequency that can range from weekly care to an occasional rescue visit for hands-on gardeners.

Aeration and Seeding

For cool-season lawns, we perform fall core aeration in a cross-hatch pattern to relieve compaction and improve water and nutrient infiltration. We seed with a tall fescue blend selected from NC State’s recommended cultivar list and coordinate a fertilization visit for maximum efficacy.

Leaf Removal

Leaf removal is tailored to your property and preferences. Choose a one-time end-of-season cleanup or schedule weekly clearing throughout leaf season.

Fall Cleanup

Our fall cleanup provides a final seasonal reset and pre-dormancy pruning. We cut back only perennials without winter interest and can install an optional fresh mulch layer designed to carry the beds through until spring.

Winter Pruning

Dormant-season visits let us rejuvenate old and overgrown plants while minimizing stress and disease transfer. Plants that bloom on old wood are intentionally skipped to protect the following season’s flowers.
